Wamberal Sea Wall Update

Significant progress has been made on the Wamberal Sea Wall project, aimed at enhancing coastal protection and mitigating erosion risks.

Recent assessments indicate that the sea wall will provide critical defense against storm surges and rising sea levels, safeguarding both residential areas and local ecosystems. Environmental considerations have been prioritized, with measures in place to minimize impact on marine habitats during construction.

Community consultations have been ongoing, ensuring that local stakeholders are engaged and informed about the project’s developments. Feedback has been generally positive, with residents appreciative of the proactive approach to coastal management.

Central Coast Surveyors have been involved with the surveying of some critical sections to be rectified.

Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.

Mixed Residential Development at 47-50 The Esplanade Ettalong Beach

Central Coast Surveyors have been engaged at the initial design stages for a mixed Residential and commercial development at the old water slide site at Ettalong Beach. The proposed six storey building containing 59 units with the lower floor containing retail shops. Since excavation for the basement levels are below the water table pumps are pumping out water 24hrs a day until the second floor slab is poured to have enough weight to stop the building from floating. Our field crew is performing a monitoring survey to ensure the piling caps don’t move more than 5mm.EttalongView from Mantra Ettalong Beach Roof Top of Ground Floor Construction and from Street View.
